OUR FACILITY
Anchor Cross Ranch is an equine training facility located in Camp Verde, AZ.
We are situated on 52 acres, bordered on one side by the Verde River.
ACR currently has space available for a professional trainer at our facility; please for more information.
The facility is centrally located with incredible mountain views, set in a beautiful green valley with the elevation at 3,300 feet. We are substantially cooler than Phoenix in the summer, and still have excellent winter weather... and only an hour north of the Valley.

This facility includes 20' x 20' covered stalls, 16' x 16' covered stalls, a show barn, and numerous runs for turn out on irrigated grass pastures.
We have a 140' x 90' cutting pen (6' high board fence) with viewing stand, and automated sprinkling system built on natural rock-free river sand. ACR also has space to accommodate ample cattle.
The 300' x 190' roping arena has ideal well-maintained footing for reining and working cow horse trainers. It is fully equipped for steer and calf roping, also with an automated sprinkling system.
The facility includes a 60' round pen, automatic waterers, wash rack, and vet room with stocks. In addition, we have great "outside" riding along the river for young horses.
We are now offering customized full care Pasture Board for mares, foals, retirees or horses needing lay-up time. The pastures are improved irrigated bermuda.
